Rule 3
Types of Insurance Business
(1) Subject to the Act and this regulation, the insurance business carried out by the insurer shall be divided into the following types:-
(a) Life insurance business.
(b) Non-Life Insurance Business.
(c) Reinsurance business.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (1), the Government of Nepal may prescribe other types of insurance business as required after consulting the committee.
